The Holocaust

I have been quite depressed for the past two days.

Why you may ask, or not LOL.

For some reason, I had an urge to learn more about this thing people call the 'Holocaust' and what was the big fuss over it. My gosh, what a big fuss it is! Just reading about it makes me question people's mentality. Human Experiments? Death Camps? These things I used to believe to only exist in fiction books/shows. So I knew that World War 2 was bad but to what extent I was quite unsure.

Obviously this curiosity got the better of me and I went out to borrow an award winning film called Schindler's List. I had just watched bits of pieces of this movie but never straight through. After borrowing the DVD, I still have it on my to-do-list. LOL Apparently, it has TWO DVDs not just ONE. Due to my laziness I can't be bothered going back to video ezy to complain. Anyway, the first half of the movie is GREAT! I would definitely recommend it for anyone :) Just watch out for a few scenes. They actually have pretty dam graphic killings! So anyone up for it?

Welcome Back

Well, after 5 days and a bit, I am back on my blog to share my experiences I brought back from EtG 'o9 :)

I must say, the 5 days I was gone away was DEFINITELY intense! I'm so glad I managed to write a few things down to re-jolt my memory :) One thing I will take away from this experience is the long chat I had with a LOVELY lady called Sr Bernadette. She was amazing in a sense that she is so peaceful and loving. Well anyway, that talk with her will stay with me for a while because she was able to tell me the type of person I was by just talking to her.

Another interesting part of the retreat was the trip there and back, mainly the trip back. Being challenged by a friend, you are required to be patient and loving. Quite hard in a sense that you know there are answers BUT you don't have answers yourself. When you give a valid point they don't listen. I don't deny what they are saying, but I see it in a different way. Definitely interesting though :)

One more thing that strikes me as totally AMAZING are definitely the stars at night. I have NEVER EVER EVER seen so many stars in the sky! If you have lived in Perth your WHOLE life or you have always lived in a metropolitan area, I suggest to you to drive at least 3 hours in ANY direction and then look at the sky at night (hopefully there will be no moon) but it's truly lovely! In the period of 30mins, my friend and I managed to see 7 shooting stars, while serenading to each other. Great times when you refuse to go to bed but instead you want to lie on the basketball courts, looking at the stars and singing songs. Greater times when you refuse to go to sleep by serenading 'More Than Words' to the person trying to make you go to sleep :)

Dear Mother Has Gone...

Well, last night my dear mother of mine left to Malaysia. Somewhat I feel bad in a sense I only wished her farewell at home and not at the airport. Reason being, Donkey Kong's birthday dinner was that night too.

Well I do wish my dear mother of mine a safe trip and I will pray that you will get back in one piece!

I must commend her choice in a venue. Gold Bar definitely is a lovely/classy bar to be at :) I actually forgot to take a photo when it was empty. Music had it's good and bad points but overall I would give it an approval :) aswell as the crowd :)

Running on 2 hours sleep is not considerablly good for you, but you know, I'm super human and can survive something so petty like that!
Anyway, the good night left me deaf in both ears and I feel someone is going to tell me off for talking/listening to music really loudly. THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT I'M GOING THROUGH! Hahaha JOKES!

Anyway, when am I going to beach? :(

Fun in the Sun

Howdy!

Yes, finally something interesting has happened to make my holidays more enjoyable.
I have come to conclusion that ANYONE can have fun with bubbles!
Yesterday, visited a friend's house, who lived FAR away, only to run into a brick wall with ideas to do. I attempted to teach her how to play music :) but unfortunately, it failed miserably (shhh don't tell them that)
Well, I DID bring my camera, and I HAVE always wanted to take photos of bubbles *cheesey grin*. So this is the final result :)

During my trip in Sydney, I managed to meet an AWESOME American friend :) and yes, we have kept in touch for a while now! Even though we both come from a Westernised country, and both speak English, there are still many differences between us. Call me simple minded but it definitely still interests me :)

SPRING BREAK (Even though it's going to be summer)

The reasons why this blog has been accumulating cobwebs is unknown but I'm just going to say it was because of uni (Biggest lie ever :P).
Due to an unknown person, this blog has been, yet again, revived.

Many things have actually happened to me, great things :) and not so great. In the end I'm still happy :)

It has taken me about a year to realise that you are actually unable to see the desk in my room because of all this junk that has been building up. Due to this lack of study space, I decided to take over the 'fancy' dining room >:)

As I said, I'll update again slowly when interesting stuff happen to me :)

I love reminiscing on things :) and one thing that struck my mind was World Youth Day 2008! I'm finally starting to appriciate the purpose of it :)

I had a great long shower and it felt GOOOOOOD :) not like any of you guys care :)

I love playing ds while studying :) It just WORKS!!!
Anyway, my day started off at 5am. I ended up rolling around my bed for about an hour, then I got fed up. What's up with that? Excitement about finishing? I think maybe the overwhelming feeling because I feel quite confident about this semster :) Whatever the reason, it's GREAT!

Everyone is the Same Around this Time

Exams you say? It must be. Facebook statuses are full of crap with stuff like "OMG I HATE THIS insert unit here"
Don't you think that everyone is going through the same. I find it kind of frustrating.
I think starting from when I finish exams, I'm going to try to be more patient with people and not get frustrated :)
